Recently, FireSabre founder Fred Fuchs (aka Gus Plisskin) was interviewed for a story in the Omaha World-Herald. Read about it here! The story is an introduction for uninitiated readers to what virtual worlds are, and the fact that one can make real-life money in some VWs, such as Second Life. It's all old news to anyone reading our site, but it's nice to see ourselves mentioned in such a positive story about SL. Congratulations Fred, and thanks to the World-Herald staff! At FireSabre, we have been involved in a number of important "firsts" in Second Life: - We were part of the first Teen Second Life education project. (Global Kids)
- We also built the first Teen SL project for a school.
- Later partnered with Global Kids to provide low-cost access to Second Life for K-12 education.
- Recent projects:
- Created Second Life project to help with sales to major clothing manufacturer
- Helped bring Gianfranco Miccichè, Italian Deputy Minister for Economy and Finance, into Second Life.
